It is with great pleasure that we announce the arrival of our mushrooms in select Piggly Wiggly and Newton Farms stores. For over 40 years, the monks of Mepkin have striven to provide you with only the highest quality of local fresh eggs and are prepared to continue that same attentiveness to quality with Mepkin Abbey Mushrooms. Our White Oyster Mushrooms will also be featured in select downtown Charleston restaurants. (See Locations)

A large (and growing) selection of the Clare Boothe Luce Library's surplus books are available at very affordable prices on Amazon.com.
Book donations are gratefully accepted. Your books would either be sold online or sent to the Home of Hope orphanage for girls in Kochi, India. Its sponsor, our friend Paul Wilkes, was our guide in this new venture.

Laurens Conference Center
Located in the Clare Boothe Luce Library, this beautiful facility is available for rent to companies and groups for $250 per day. State of the art audio-visual equipment facilitate presentations and staff are available to aid with setup.

Mepkin Abbey Store is a place where the public encounters the monastic tradition. We feature books on spiritual and theological subjects and products from other monasteries, as well as beautifully handcrafted items and works of art from regional artists. Our famous mushrooms and garden compost Earth Healer are for sale here.
