Mushroom Quiche

Serves 3-4

Ingredients:

  • 1 – 9 inch pie crust
  • 5 large eggs
  • ¾ cup of milk
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of pepper
  • 5 ounces of sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tablespoon of olive oil
  • ¼ cup of dry white wine
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic
  • 4 ounces of Swiss cheese, shredded


Directions:

Heat oven at 350. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Heat oil and sauté garlic and mushrooms with the wine just until tender. Spread drained mushrooms into the bottom of piecrust. Pour egg mixture evenly over the mushrooms, sprinkle with the cheese.

Bake Quiche for 25 to 30 minutes or until it is set and browned. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
