Third Annual Flower and Garden Vegetable Plant Sale to be held April 1
The Mepkin Abbey Garden Volunteers Third Annual Flower and Garden Vegetable Plant Sale will be held Saturday, April 1, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sale will be located at the Mepkin Columbarium office under the Oaks. Parking will be in the parking lot past the gift shop (follow the signs).
Offered plants will include:
Collector Grasses, Swedish Ivy, Bolivian Jew, Silver Plectranthus, Rudbeckia, Spider Plants, Creeping Jenny, Potato Vine, Alternanthera, Ferns, Coleus, Mondo Grass, Bronze Fennel, Dish Gardens, various succulents, selected hardwood trees, Brother Ambrose’s vegetable plants and much, much more! All grown at Mepkin Abbey by our volunteers.
Additional items:
- A Spring-themed basket valued at $150.00. Buy tickets $1 each or 12 for $10.
- Mushroom Compost for $4.99 a bag
Speakers:
- Christopher Burtt, from our local Clemson Extension office
- Vivian Whorley, landscape consultant on native plants
- Dwight Williams, entomologist who will answer questions regarding insects
Plus, we will have our friends from Summerville, The Charleston Hot Shots, playing bluegrass.
Bring a chair and plan on spending the day with us, visit our gardens and our gift shop.
We accept cash, credit debit and DONATIONS to support the ongoing event.
