Contemplative Aging Cenobium
What is a Contemplative Aging Cenobium?
A Contemplative Aging Cenobium is a group of people who have participated in a four day retreat to provide a deeper understanding of “Contemplative Aging.” They are committed to making their own aging more contemplative and gather for a day each month to support one another in this endeavor. They electronically continue their conversations between gatherings. The term cenobium refers to the place where monks who live in community (cenobites), rather than as hermits, live and practice the monastic discipline.
