Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Mercy donate grotto honoring Our Lady of Lourdes

Mepkin is so grateful to the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Mercy who have given us their grotto honoring Our Lady of Lourdes.

The grotto was a donation to the sisters by the parents of Sister Bridget Sullivan. Now that the sisters have moved from Mayforest, they offered us the figures and the stones that were the setting. The design has been reworked in keeping with our landscape, and the work has been completed to situate this shrine to the right of the path leading to the church.

We offer grateful prayers to God for the generosity of the sisters and pray for their intentions each day.
