Mepkin Abbey Announces Top Five Crèche Displays
The 22nd annual Crèche Festival, “Nativity in Wood and with Wood,” has concluded; it was a wonderful time of celebration, and we appreciate the hard work of all our volunteers that make it possible each year. We also would not have the festival without our guests, for whom we are so very thankful.
We offered two crèches at silent auction this year – #72 Oyster Shell by Chris Nietert and #37 Wood & Art Print by Mary Walker. We also had a drawing this year for a beautiful Frankenmuth Nativity scene, donated by Clay & Susan Duffie, which was won by Lowcountry resident Regina Sullivan.
