Through Him, with Him and in Him

Christ is present – with you, in you, through you – and at the same time with me, in me, and through me.

Pondering this truth of God always with and within us takes us into an understanding of who we are with and for one another.  At the celebration of the Eucharist we hear sung – through Him, with Him and in Him – an invitation to reflect on a profound mystery.

And the reception of the Eucharist reminds us we are to be as Guerric of Igny. Reminds us to be God bearers. The way Mary herself, cooperating with God, became the one foretold in the scriptures, bringing Jesus into the world.

A few thoughts to take with us as we consider what God had in mind when giving us life and breath, purpose and meaning.
