Oyster Mushrooms in Red Wine and Cream Sauce


  • 2 Tablespoons of butter
  • 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 3 shallots, minced
  • 1 lb of Oyster Mushrooms (or whatever you have)
  • 2 tablespoons of Red Wine (add more if you prefer)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¾ lb Fettuccine pasta
  • Parmesan Cheese


Add chicken broth red wine and cream and continue to cook on low till all flavors are blending and the sauce is getting a little thick. Add seasonings and you have it. Just sauté the shallots or onions and garlic with the mushrooms and sauté till tender.
